Please use these boards freely but do observe the simple rules:

• You must register to post on these boards - this is individual registration so we know who you are when you post, Click here to register

  Do not use the generic username and password on the back of your MOA membership card which generic and used only to read the Members Areas of the main website

• Please use rational, moderate and reasonable language.

• Use "Sentence case" not UPPER case UPPER CASE IS THE EQUIVALENT OF SHOUTING

• We don't allow commercial organisations to advertise overtly, only to put up replies to specific questions by members

How to use the boards:

When you have logged on once, cookies remember your details so you don't have to log on again on the same computer. 

When you select a board, if you want to start a new thread, go to the top of the list of items and click on the "Create a new ......" link.

You then get this box - notice your username and password are already filled in

Then press "Preview/Post Message" to see what it looks like. You may edit it at this time. When you are happy with what you have written, press the "Post Message" button.

To include a picture, it must be 500 pixels x 500 pixels or smaller. Just press the "Upload Attachment" button.

If it is straight from your camera you may have to change the size - you can use one of the programs you have on your computer or even your email program to compress and size it. There are many popular programs which will do the job for you.

To put a picture on your profile, see here for a method of sizing it using Adobe Photoshop Elements - but other photo editing programs work just as well

Only members of the MOA are allowed to advertise on the For Sale/Wanted board - any replies to your post will be automatically emailed to you.
