All MOA East Coast members are invited to contribute photographs to the gallery. All photographs submitted will be published on this web site and you are invited to add a few words to each, explaining when and why taken, or a few notes as to why it is special to you.
All photographs submitted will also be entered into the MOA National Photo Competition run by Laurence Gandar, so you might find your photograph on the Compass cover page!
Please note: East Coast Committee members (including the web master) may submit photos, but these will not be entered in the East Coast competition, but may be included for entry to MOA National Photo Competition.
Twice a year, at the Fitting and Laying Up Suppers, the prizes will be awarded.
Youth competitors should be aged 14 years or younger at the time the
photograph was taken. Use of 'dads' camera is fine, as long as 'dad' did not
help with the picture content. When entering photographs for the youth
competition please include details of the entrant, i.e. name, age etc. Age
will be taken into account, i.e. younger entrants will be treated
advantageously.
The prizes will be posted to you if you are unable to attend the prize
giving.
Photo's can be of Moody yachts sailing, MOA Events, or East Coast harbours
and places, indeed anything that will be of general interest to the MOA
community.
We can scan and return conventional photographs (please send to the
webmaster, address is on the team page, accessible from the main site menu), or you can (preferred) in
digital format (please send at the maximum resolution you have, emails up to
10MB can be accepted).
